The rareness of this great breed of bourbon is evident in its complex aromas of toffee, hints of orange peel, herbs, honey, leather, and oak. On the palate, it is bold and dry, with oaky flavors highlighted by notes of candied almonds and very rich cocoa. The dry, lingering finish wraps it up nicely.
